MISHAWAKA - Craig Lowell Mishler, 62, formerly of
Mishawaka, passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008. He was a resident
of Greenwood, IN. He was born Nov. 7, 1945, in South Bend, to
Dale and Eloise Mishler. He married Sandra Mishler in 2002. She
survives. Other survivors include his mother, Eloise Mishler of
Mishawaka; two sons, Chad Mishler of Noblesville and Dale (Julie)
Holzhousen of Missouri; two daughters, Dawn (Pat) Williams
of Noblesville and Dana Overman of Florida; two brothers,
Brent (Krista) Mishler of South Bend and Bruce Mishler of
California; and four grandchildren, Heather Holzhousen, Joshua
Holzhousen, Conner Williams and Carlee Williams. He was preceded
in death by his father, Dale Mishler. Craig graduated from
Indiana State University. He was an English teacher and coach for
the Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corp. for 26 years. He
later was employed by Atterbury Job Corps as an academic
instructor for seven years. Craig was a former member of the
Elks. He was a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers
Association, the Prince's Lakes Park Board and was a charter
member of the Nineveh-Prince's Lakes Jaycees.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. November 16th in the Greenwood Trails Clubhouse, 100 Greenwood Trails South Drive. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Cremation Society of Indiana.
