Mike Miser
April 5, 1928 - April 15, 2010
WALKERTON - L. Mike Miser, 82, passed away in his home Thursday,
April 15, 2010. Mr. Miser was born in Starke County, IN to John
and Edna (Spaid) Miser and lived in the area all of his life. On
January 4, 2000 in Plymouth, IN he was married to the former
Sharon Kraft. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; five daughters,
Vivian Miser of Aurora, CO, Janice Lamb of Plymouth, Beverly
(Jeff) Beach of Detroit, MI, Sharon (Mike) Houin of Argos and
Penny Byron of Centennial, CO; one son, Michael Miser of
Plymouth; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and
one sister, Phylis Jean Amor of Plymouth. He was preceded in
death by his parents, brothers, Samuel and Lloyd Miser and
sisters, Iva Mrozinski, Lowaine Stanton, Retha Beem, Audrey
Taylor and Opal Neiswender. Mrs. Miser was a former truck driver
for Advance Transformer of Chicago. He was a member of the
Michiana Racers Hall of Fame, the Plymouth Speedway Hall of Fame
and the Indiana Racing Association. Funeral services will be
Monday at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) in Rannells Funeral Home,
Koontz Lake Chapel with Pastor Thomas Padberg officiating. Burial
will be at the Polk Township Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may
call Sunday 2-8 p.m. ET and Monday one hour prior to the service.
