Mishawaka - Louis Minotti, 90, of 121 W. 11th St., died about 6 p.m. Thursday in the J & D Health Care Home, South Bend, after an illness.
He was born Nov. 28, 1895 in Macerone, Italy, and came to this area in 1912 from Logansport, Ind.
On April 23, 1923, in Mishawaka, he married the former Delphina Vernasco. She survives with a daughter, Alba Ballwomini of Chicago; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Maria Manzi and Cesirina Benzi, both of Cenzia, Italy.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bavos Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Hahns DeVos Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Minotti retired from the Uniroyal Inc. plant in Mishawaka in 1960 after 40 years.
He was a member of St. Bavos Church, the Uniroyal Retirees Club and DeAmicis Club.
