MISHAWAKA - Jeanette Minne, 67, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in her residence Jeanette was born on January 28, 1941, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of Cyriel and Laura Charlotte (Selis) Minne. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Lorraine Penrod. Surviving Jeanette are a brother, Stephen (Carla) Minne of Fort Wayne; and her nieces and nephews, Michael (Pam) Penrod, Lori (Tom) Skora, Rick Penrod, Bill Penrod, Susan Rodts, Alan Minne and Laura J. Minne; and several cousins. Jeanette worked for Uniroyal for 30 years from 1959 to 1989; she then went to work for St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend, and for Respite Care from 1990 to 2002. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Wedding Coordinator, a member of Uniroyal Ladies Club and the American Business Women's Association.

Friends and family may call on Friday, April 11, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a wake prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon on Saturday, April 12, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Jeanette's family would like to thank all the friend and caregivers who stopped by and helped out and sent cards to her during her brief illness.
