3, 1959 - Sept. 6, 2009SOUTH BEND - Michael A. Minder, 50, of South Bend, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Lakeland Hospital, Niles, MI. He was a self-employed handyman. Michael was born on March 3, 1959 in South Bend, IN to Frances and Josephine (Crawford) Minder, Sr. He lived most of his life in South Bend and ten years in Oklahoma. On March 12, 2005, in South Bend, IN, he married Lisa L. (Schalliol) Minder, who survives. Along with his wife, Lisa, he is survived by his daughter, Kaley Kay Minder of South Bend; one son, Michael (Michelle) McNutt of OK; stepdaughter, Meaghan Conard of South Bend; stepson, Brad Zoerhof of Holland, MI; two grandchildren, Patrick Zoerhof and Anna Marie Zoerhof; two sisters, Carol (Albert) Leeke of South Bend and Patricia (Art) Piasicki of TX; three brothers, Jack (Bonnie) Minder of Mishawaka, Frank (Cheryl) Minder of South Bend and Mark (Lisa) Minder of Granger; and many nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Josephine Lipowski and Donna Minder; and one brother, Billy Minder all preceded him in death. Michael loved all of his family with all of his heart. He loved playing with his kids. He liked to fish, work on small engines, and enjoyed the challenge of picking up anything and fixing it. Private family visitation will be held.
