Virginia B. Miller, 84, of Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, Indiana, formerly of Chicago Trail Village, New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 in Fountainview.

Virginia was born on July 25, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Powney) Barth. She was a resident of New Lenox, Illinois for several years, before moving to the new Carlisle area in 1985.

Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons, George and Lawrence Curts, both of Hudson Lake, Indiana; two grandchildren, Christine Ruby of Covina, California and Patti Laque of New Iberia, Louisiana; and two great-grandchildren, Josh and Trey Laque. She was a member of the Eastern Star America Cyrene Chapter #454, Oaklawn, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2002, in Kaniewski Funeral home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Funeral Home, with burial to follow in New Carlisle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545-3099.
