LAKEVILLE - Jean Miller, 72, residing in Osceola, IN, formerly of Lakeville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 2, 2010, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born January 7, 1938, in Oak Creek, Colorado, the daughter of McGinnis Frank and Rosa Mae (McFarland) Boley, and had lived in Lakeville for 28 years until moving to Osceola in 2007. On June 23, 1957, in Orlando, FL, she was united in marriage to Cleo D. Miller. They have enjoyed nearly 53 years of marriage. Jean attended Tennessee Temple College and graduated from Indiana University of South Bend. She briefly taught school in Walkerton, IN. She loved the Lord, and always enjoyed serving in the church. She taught Sunday School, was a youth leader, and sang in the choir. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother. Mrs. Miller was a member of Community Baptist Church, South Bend. She is survived by her loving husband, Cleo; daughter, Susan Miller of Woodstock, GA; son, Paul D. (Karen) Miller of Groveland, FL; a step-grandson, Justin Matthew Hughes; one sister, Betty Beasley; two brothers, her twin, Dean Willis (Judy) Boley, and Rodney (Sandra) Boley, all of Oviedo, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harold Boley. Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many rooms; If it were not so, Would I have told you that I go and prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to Myself, That where I am you may be also. Services celebrating the life of Jean Miller will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8th, in Community Baptist Church, 5715 Miami Road, South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow at Porter Rae Cemetery at Potato Creek State Park, North Liberty, IN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville, 314 South Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN.
