Geraldine L. Miller, 57, of Powell,
Wyo., formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5:46 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 4, in her residence. Mrs. Miller was a self-employed
artist. She was a member of the Cody Art League, Cody, Wyo.,
participated in art shows in South Bend, and was a former member
of the Donmoyer Avenue Church of Christ. Mrs. Miller was also an
illustrator for children's books authored by John N. Clayton.
Geraldine was born on March 3, 1944, in South Bend, to Raymond
and Esther Flatoff. She was preceded in death by her
parents, and by a brother, Raymond Flatoff Jr.
On April 12, 1990, she married Edward
Miller, who survives. She is also survived by a son, Dale Scott
(Kelly) Kravets of South Bend; a sister, Antoinette
"Toni" (Michael) Egyhazi of South Bend; six
aunts, Mary Ann Klebusits, Elizabeth L. Megyese,
Lucille K. Deguch and Joan Napieralski, all of
South Bend, Harriet Austin of Chipley, Fla., and Dorothy
J. Tison of Phoenix, Ariz.; and by three uncles, James Vargo
Jr. of Schoolcraft, Mich., James D. Flatoff and Lewis Flatoff,
both of South Bend.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 11
a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the Donmoyer Avenue Church of Christ,
718 E. Donmoyer Avenue, South Bend. Burial will follow at
Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Family and friends may call one-half
hour prior to services in the church. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to the Powell Church of
Christ, 749 U.S. Highway 14A, Powell, WY 82435. The Zahoran
Funeral Home handled the local arrangements.
