Wilma E. Millage

Wilma E. Millage, 72, of West Tanglewood Trace, Mishawaka, Ind., formerly of Bosse Avenue, Mishawaka, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Friday, March 9, following an illness. She was born on Feb. 10, 1929, in Miami County, Ind., to Ralph and Opal Bowden, who preceded her in death.

On May 16, 1953, she married Wilfred Millage in Miami County. He died on May 29, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie and Robert Bowden; and by a sister, Lenore Jean Harrington. She is survived by a daughter, Ruthann Millage of South Bend, Ind.; and by a son, Dennis Millage of Mishawaka. Mrs. Millage retired from Uniroyal Corporation after 35 years of service. She was also a volunteer for Special Olympics.

Funeral services for Mrs. Millage will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Burial will follow the services Monday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
