Funeral services for Nicholas Mikula, aged
33, of 845 Prairie avenue, who died at 10:26 p.m. Saturday in
Epworth hospital after an illness of two weeks, will be held at 9
a.m. Wednesday in St. Hedwige's Roman Catholic church with Rev.
Stanislaus A. Gruza, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial
will be in St. Joseph's Polish cemetery. Friends may call
at St. Joseph's funeral home. Mr. Mikula was born in South
Bend April 9, 1909. Surviving are his mother, Mary Mikula;
the widow, Veronica; a daughter, Louise, at home; three brothers,
Anthony and Ervin Mikula, both of South Bend, and Floyd Mikula,
in the United States army in Texas, and six sisters, Mrs.
Josephine Nowak, Mrs. Cecelia Danielowicz, Mrs.
Theresa Graves, Mrs. Tillie Bickel, and Mrs. Irene Hauteman,
all of South Bend, and Mrs. Helen Burnside, of Dayton, O.
