Wayne E. Middleton, 49, of West Sixth Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after a brief illness at 1:25 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind. Wayne was born on May 19, 1952, in South Bend, to Jack Middleton and JoAnn Davis. Wayne is survived by his mother, JoAnn O'Brien of Mishawaka; three sons, Troy Middleton of Aurora, Ill., and Launie and Joseph Middleton, both of Lafayette, Ind.; six grandchildren; a sister, Anna O'Brien of Mishawaka; four brothers, Jack Middleton and Philip O'Brien of South Bend, Bill Middleton of Diamond, Mo., and David Middleton of Mishawaka; and by his best friend, Rich O'Dae of Mishawaka.

Friends may visit with Wayne's family from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, in the Berkley Circle Community Building, Mishawaka, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., with Rev. John Railton officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
