Margaret M. Michels, wife of Wilfred A. Michels, 211 John Street,, passed away last night at 8 o’clock at the Holy Family Hospital after a short illness. She was 64 years old.
She was born here on July 19, 1874, the daughter Michael and Ellen Tracy and had lived her all her life.
She was married on Feb. 1, 1913 in St. Peter’s Church to Mr. Michels who survives. Mrs. Michels was a member of St. Peter’s Church and the Rosary Society.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a step-son, Cletus Michels of Mishawaka; a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Smuck of Chicago; a nephew, Eldon Smuck of Chicago. A. son and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Peter’s Church. The Rev. H. Victor Magsam will officiate and burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery with Cutler Brothers in charge. The remains may be viewed at the home from this evening until the time of the service.
