Mishawaka – Florine E. Michele, 78, of 114 Towle Ave., died at 12:40 Monday in Medco Center.

Mrs. Michele retired in 1983 as a cook at St. Joseph Grade School.

She was born Sept. 24, 1912 in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident. On July 1, 1950, in Mishawaka, as Florine Ferrettie, she married Joseph A. Michele. He died Oct. 17, 1964.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Miller of Mishawaka; a grandchild; and a brother, Raymond Ferrettie of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitors may call one hour before services on Thursday in the church. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or church building fund.
