Valentine Michalski, age 63, of 2005 West Sample street, died Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 o’clock in the residence, following a three months illness. He was born in Poland, Feb. 8, 1865, and had lived in South Bend nearly all his life, coming here from Poland. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; five sons, Walter, George, Casimir, Leo and John Michalski; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Lemanski, Mrs. Theresa Ormat, Mrs. Mary Szupinski, and Miss Josephine Michalski, all of this city, and four sisters in Poland. The body may be view in the residence until the time of the funeral which will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning in St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic church, Rev. B.J. Sztuczko, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
