Patricia J. Mezzei, 57, of Gerencser Drive, South Bend, Ind., formerly of Jennings Avenue, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, in her residence.

She was born on March 29, 1945, in South Bend, to Alex and Joan Tafelski. Her father, Alex, is deceased.

On Sept. 2, 1967, in South Bend, Patricia married Stephen D. Mezzei. Patricia is survived by her husband, Stephen D. Mezzei; her mother, Joan (Johanna) Tafelski of Florida; one son, Stephen A. Mezzei of Lafayette, Ind.; one sister, Deborah Hart of Lancaster, Pa.; and by a brother, Eugene Tafelski of Florida.

Her hobbies and interests included reading, walking on the beach, collecting music boxes and stuffed animals. She enjoyed spending time with her family and making Christmas ornaments used to decorate the family home. She was an accounting manager with RACO, and belonged to Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 8 p.m. in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
