Agnes E. Meyer
Agnes E. Meyer, 97, of St. Pauls Health Care Center, died Saturday in the center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 4 p.m.

Agnes E. Meyers
Agnes E. Meyers, 97, of South Bend, Ind., died after an illness at 7:05 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, in the St. Pauls Health Care Center.
Agnes was born in Noble County, Ind., to Louis O. and Cora (Moorehouse) Meyer. She had been a resident of South Bend over 60 years.
She had been an elementary school teacher, having taught two years in Noble County, two years in Hawaii, one year in Jamaica and over 40 years in South Bend.
Agnes is survived by four nieces and their families, Jeanne Neely of South Bend, Margaret Fleming of Redondo Beach, Calif., Martha Phelan of Orange, Calif., and Mary Ann Getzinger of Redding, Calif.; and by three nephews and their families, Larry Vanderbosch of South Bend, Joseph Shilts of Fairfield, Calif., and Keith Vanderbosch of Elkhart, Ind.
Agnes was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral where she was active in the Rosary Society and the Circle of Mercy. She also belonged to the St. Joseph Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary, Harvest Hours and the local, state and national Retired Teachers Association.
The funeral services for Agnes E. Meyer will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in St. Matthew Cathedral, with Bishop John Crowley and Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Guisinger Colonial
Chapel Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, where the Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.
