SOUTH BEND - Lucy Meszaros, 94, of Transitional Health Services of South Bend, formerly of Indiana 2, died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday in the nursing home.

Mrs. Meszaros was born Sept. 3, 1901, in South Bend. On July 2, 1935, in South Bend, as Lucy Vrient, she married Emery G. Meszaros. He died in 1983. She is survived by a sister, Martha Markiewicz of South Bend; two nieces, Marlene Waltz of South Bend and Millicent Selecky of Auburndale, Fla.; and two nephews, James Markiewicz of South Bend and Ron Fiwek of Springhill, Fla. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
