Chester G. Menczynski

Chester G. Menczynski, 58 years old,
residing in South Bend, passed away at 7:01 P.M. on Friday,
February 18, 2000, at his home. Mr. Menczynski was born on
February 26, 1941, in Hinsdale, IL. He had lived in South Bend
for the past 14 years, moving from Grovertown, IN. Mr. Menczynski
was employed with B & B Molders in Mishawaka as a maintenance
technician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
On December 27, 1986, in South Bend, he
married Sharon L. Williams, who survives. Along with his
wife, survivors include two daughters, Christine A. (Joe) Welling
of Goshen, IN, and Tamara C. Brugh of South Bend; four
sons, Chet Alan (Kim) Menczynski of Goshen, Ryan E. (Stacy) Brugh
of Goose Creek, S.C., Matthew T. (Laura) Brugh and Shawn M.
(Laura) Brugh, both of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; his mother,
Cecelia (Majewski) Menczynski, and one sister, Adeline Jacobs,
both of Grovertown; and his mother-in-law, Maxine Williams of
South Bend. Mr. Menczynski's father, Theodore Menczynski,
preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M.
on Tuesday, February 22, 2000, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528
Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN. Rev. Leonard Chrobot, pastor of
St. Hedwig Catholic Church, will officiate. Friends may visit
with the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, February
21, at the Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend. Contributions in
memory of Chester G. Menczynski may be donated to Hospice of St.
Joseph County, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637;
or to the American Cancer Society, 404 Columbia Street, South
Bend, IN 46601.
