- Nov. 14, 2007 SOUTH BEND - Robert C. Mell, 81, died of natural causes on Wednesday in St. Paul's Retirement Community. Survivors include a sister, Winifred L. VandenBossche of South Bend, and a brother, Wilbur W. Mell Jr. of South Bend. There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
