SOUTH BEND – Services for Pauline A. Meixel, 76, of Torrence, Calif., formerly of Ironwood Drive, who died at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Royal Wood Care Center, Torrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call for 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home where a wake service will be at 6:30 p.m.

Mrs. Meixel was born May 16, 1916, in Mishawaka, and lived in Mishawaka until moving to California in 1989. On Sept. 1, 1937, in South Bend, as Pauline A. Guerra, she married James F, Meixel. He died Jan. 18, 1983. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Schrandt of Palos Verdes, Calif.; a son John P. of Torrence; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Amaral of Mishawaka. She was a member of St. Anthony de Pauda Catholic Church.
