Paul R. Medich, 73, of Pensacola,
Fla., formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away after a brief
illness on Wednesday, Sept. 22, in his residence. Mr. Medich was
born on Nov. 4, 1925, in South Bend, to Paul and Mary Ann (Januchowski)
Medich, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in
death by a sister, Mildred Becker; and by a brother, Michael
Medich. Paul retired in 1988 from the Medich Exterminating
Company of South Bend, and shortly after moved to Pensacola.
On July 28, 1978, in Syracuse, Ind., he
married Max Ellen Liniger, who survives. He is also
survived by a daughter, Roxanne Benividas of Corpus
Christi, Texas; a stepdaughter, Lucy Pace of Pensacola,
Fla.; a son, Paul H. Medich of South Bend; five grandchildren;
and by two brothers, George Medich of South Bend and Robert
Medich of White Pigeon, Mich.
Mr. Medich was a World War II Navy veteran,
and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Pensacola. He was also an
avid golfer after he retired to Florida.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on
Saturday, Oct. 9, in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice. The
Zahoran Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
