SOUTH BEND - Deborah Ann Mead, 40, of Inglewood Place, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital from a severe head injury she suffered in a one-car accident Thursday. Mrs. Mead was a server at Yesterday's Restaurant and The Summit Club. She was born April 11, 1955, in Honolulu.

Surviving are a companion, Jewel Van Dalsen, with whom she shared her home; a daughter, Tonya Miller of Mishawaka; a granddaughter; her mother and stepfather, Rose M. and Larry Krieger of Niles; and her father, Walter W. Norman of Jackson, Mich.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will be in Mission Hills Cemetery, Niles. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
