William E. McNulty

April 19, 1908 – October4, 1976

William E. McNulty, 68, of 241 Rue Rabalais, died at 10:30am Monday after a short illness.  Death occurred in the Methodist Hospital which is affiliated with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN.  He was a retired supervisor of the brake division of the Bendix Corp.

Born on April 19, 1908, in South Bend, he lived here his lifetime.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carol Beth Loeffler and Mrs. Kathleen Miller, both of South Bend; a son, Thomas B. of South Bend, and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30am Thursday in St Matthew Cathedral.  Bishop Joseph Crowley, DD, rector, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson, where a rosary will be recited at 8:15pm Wednesday.  McNulty was a 1927 graduate of the South Bend High School where he was a member of the varsity football team.  He also attended Columbus College, Bismarck SC and the University of Notre Dame.
