Sister M. Angelicia McNamee CSC, 80, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the convent. She was born Aug. 20, 1906 in Pekin, Ill. as Cora Mary McNamee. She was received as a novice Aug. 15, 1929, and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1931. She was a teacher of business and served much of her life in schools in California. She was also assigned in Utah and served as secretary for Moreau Region in South Bend, from 1975 to 1978. She became a resident of St. Mary’s Convent in 1978.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday on Our Lady of Loretto Church at St. Mary’s College, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today and Thursday until services in the convent parlor, where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today.
