Wayne R. McMahon, 59, of 1118 E. South St., died at 4:15 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was employed in the maintenance department of the University of Notre Dame and was a beer salesman for many years.
Born Aug. 14, 1926, in South Bend, he lived here all his life. On Oct. 16, 1948 in South Bend, he married Shirley J. Kolupa, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Pamela Ritter, of Noblesville, Ind., Vickie Staniszewski of South Bend and Gail McMahon at home; a son Gary of Dallas, TX; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church of which he was a member. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home.
Mr. McMahon was a member of the Maenerchor Club.
