Bernice Clara (Wolf) McKnight, 97, of the Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of East Fairview, South Bend, Ind., died on Monday, April 17, in the nursing home. Bernice was born on May 26, 1902, in South Bend, to William and Laura (Krauser) Wolf, who preceded her in death.

She was married to Arthur McKnight, who also preceded her in death, along with two sisters, Madeline D. Wolf and Annabelle Brehmer. She is survived by a nephew, John "Jack" Brehmer, and niece, Patricia Brehmer Bolka, both of South Bend; and by several great- nieces and great-nephews.

Services where held at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 19, with Rev. Thomas Jones, C.S.C., of Christ the King Catholic Church officiating. The HICKEY Funeral Home, handled the arrangements.
