James Patrick McIntee, 82, of 205 North Towle avenue, died
at 9:45 a.m. today in the Rochester Nursing home, Rochester,
Ind., 12 days after the death of his wife.
Mr. McIntee, former Mishawaka merchant policeman, had been ill
for some time and had been confined in the nursing home for the
last 18 months.
Mr. McIntee was born Dec. 9, 1868, in Fenton, Mich., and moved
here 23 years ago from Bradford, Ill.
He married Elizabeth Ellen Canty in
Bradford in 1896. She died Dec, 22. Surviving are three sons,
Daniel and J. Paul McIntee, of Mishawaka; John McIntee of South
Bend; two daughters, Katherine, at home, and Mrs. Carl Wray, of
South Bend, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later.
Friends may call at the Thallemer funeral home after noon
Thursday. Mr. McIntee was a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge
and the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Catholic church.

Funeral services for James P. McIntee, 82, of 205 North Towle
avenue, who died Wednesday will take place at 9 a.m. Friday in
the St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rev. Carl A. Suelzer, pastor,
will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Catholic cemetery.
Friends may call at the Thallemer funeral home until the funeral services.
