Rev. William F. McGinnis CSC, 81, died early Friday morning in Holy Cross Home. He was born Nov, 28, 1903 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada and made his first profession in the Congregation of the Holy Cross on Sept. 24, 1927. After his ordination to the priesthood Jan 25, 1931, he received a doctorate in theology from Lavel University in Quebec then taught at St. Joseph University in New Brunswick. In 1943 he was appointed as first vice provincial of the new English Canadian Vice-Province of Holy Cross.

A wake service will be conducted in the Moreau Seminary Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Church and burial will follow in the Holy Cross Community Cemetery.
