North Liberty --  Claude E. McEnderfer, 84, of 506 King St., died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend.  Mr. McEnderfer was a retired farmer and employed by the former Studebaker Corp., South Bend.  He was born June 21, 1908, in Liberty Township and was a lifelong area resident.  On Jan. 19, 1935, in South Bend, he married Mildred B. Howell.  She preceded him in death.  He is survived by six sisters, Edith Unley, Edna Correll, Mary High , and Ruby Little, all of South Bend, Alma Dennison of Bremen [Indiana] and Flossie Ranstead of Rochester [Fulton County Indiana], and four brothers, Charles of South Bend, Vestal of North Liberty, Raymond of LaPaz, and Glen of Hesperia, Calif.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in A.M. Manuel Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
