Sister M. Helen CSC, 78 of St. Mary’s Convent died early this morning in the convent. She was born Elizabeth McDougal on Nov. 30, 1898 in Salem, Neb. And entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Sept. 14, 1919, coming from Falls City, Neb. She made her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1922. She taught in elementary and secondary schools in Utah, California and Idaho, and was the author of numerous magazine articles. She returned to St. Mary’s Convent in 1975.

Friends may call in St. Mary’s Convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today. Services wiil be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s.
