Sister M. Theodota CSC, 89, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Saint Mary’s Convent, where she had resided since 1861. She was born Mary Agnes McDonald in Grand Tunnell, Pa., on Aug. 10, 1876. She received her early education in Pennsylvania and entered the Sister of the Holy Cross in 1899, receiving the habit the same year. She made her profession of vows in 1902. During her community life she taught at Salt Lake City and Park City in Utah; San  Francisco; Anderson, Ind.; Alexandria, Va.; Baltimore, Md.; and many years in Washington DC. She retired in 1961.

The requiem high mass will be at 6 a.m. Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St. Mary’s, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor until 7 p.m. today.
