Richard H. McDonald (Oct. 8, 1929 -- Oct. 6, 2004).
With regret, we inform you of the passing of Richard H. McDonald, 74, after suffering a sudden illness.
He was very kind-hearted and giving, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. Richard was just two days short of his 75th birthday. His wife, Loretta of 49 years, died almost one year ago, and together they leave behind to mourn their passing but cherish their memories survivors, three daughters, Cynthia K. Barham of Kuna, Idaho, Susan Kazmierzak of East Troy, Wis., and Laurie Jean McDonald of South Bend, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and three brothers, William McDonald, Paul McDonald and Robert McDonald, all of Mishawaka, Ind.
Arrangements are being handled by the McGann Funeral Home, University Area Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Road, South Bend.
