SOUTH BEND - Services for L. Leora (Lee) McDonald, 81, of Fredricksburg, Texas, formerly of South Bend, who died Friday in Physicians & Surgeons Hospital, Midland, Texas, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Mrs. McDonald retired in 1974 from Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. She was born Sept. 13, 1912, in Mount Vernon, Texas, and lived in South Bend for 33 years before moving to Texas.

On Aug. 24, 1933, in Florence, Ariz., she married Robert E. McDonald Sr. He survives with a daughter, Betty Morris of Odessa, Texas; three sons, Robert F. Jr. of Denver, Ralph of Galien and James of South Bend; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was a former member of Westside Church of Christ.
