Mishawaka – Services for Alfred C. McCoy, 67, of 306 E. Grove St., who died about 9:45 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
Friends may cal from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Thallemer-Gosethals Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
Mr. McCoy was born May 15, 1918 in Lowell, Ind. and came to Mishawaka in 1944 from LaPorte. He retired from Federated Mutual Insurance Co, in 1977.
On July 12, 1941 in LaPorte, he married the former Catherine M. Michels. She survives with three sons, Michael C. of Mishawaka and Timothy G. and Martin C., both of Fort Myers, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine Clark of Niles and Gyneth Mosher of LaPorte; and his mother, Mary McCoy of Niles.
Mr. Michels was a member of St. Monica’s Church and the Mishawaka Loyal Order of Moose.
