Raymond McCallum

Raymond J. McCallum, age 63, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 9, 2000, in his residence. Born in South Bend, Indiana, May 10, 1937, he lived most of his life in the Canton area and was a retired employee of Foundation Systems & Anchors, retiring in 1999. He was of Catholic Faith and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2370, Loyal Order of the Moose #328 in Waterloo, Iowa, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Ray was preceded in death by his father, Raymond John McCallum. Survivors include his daughter and son-in- law, Cynthia and Dale Nicholson of Louisville, OH.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Lisa McCallum of Canal Fulton, OH., Jeffrey and Heather McCallum of Waterloo, Iowa, Matthew McCallum of Canton, OH. His mother, Elaine McCallum of Mishawaka, Indiana; his sister, Mildred Peters of South Bend, Indiana. There are five grandchildren also surviving.

Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home will be Wednesday 7-9 P.M., with additional calling hours on Friday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, South Bend, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted Friday 11:00 A.M. in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana.
