OSCEOLA - Forest Gayle McCall, 63, of Osceola, IN, formerly of South Bend and Mishawaka, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, in Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, IN. He was born on August 19, 1944, in South Bend, IN, to Leonard and Iva (Sparks) McCall. Mr. McCall is survived by a daughter, Gina M. McCall of Mishawaka, IN; two sons, Alan (Meshelle) McCall of Mishawaka, IN, and Greg McCall of South Bend; six grandchildren, Brandon, Michael and Andrea Sandefur, Shawn, Brandon and Jessica McCall; one great-grandson, Braydon Alan McCall; the mother of his children, Mary Ann Mathes of South Bend, IN; seven sisters and brothers, Rosetta Beal of Cassopolis, MI, Dean (Darlene) McCall of Hurst, TX, Wanda (Leo) Stedman of Idabel, OK, Tom (Nancy) McCall of Granger, IN, Jerry McCall of Westville, IN, Ron McCall of Mishawaka, IN, and Don (Judy) McCall of South Bend, IN. Mr. McCall attended Lakeville High School and graduated from Riley High School. He retired from Bendix Corporation after more than 40 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #9.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 31, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Rev. Warren Kirkwood will officiate. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. today, July 30, in the funeral home.
