Frank Mazzone, 84, of Carriage Lane, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, in the Fountainview Place of Mishawaka.

He was born on Aug. 8, 1914, in Hillsville, Penn., to Elizabeth and Louis Mazzone.

On Nov. 21, 1936, in South Bend, he married Mary Nate, who survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Betty A. Welch of Bristol, Ind., and Joni Rogalski of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Scott and Christopher Welch, Carrie Martin, Brian and Nikki Rogalski; two sisters, Rose Ferraro and Mary Ann Candido, both of South Bend; and by a brother, Dominic Mazzone of Jamul, Calif.

Mr. Mazzone was the proprietor of the American Shoe Service in South Bend. He was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church and its Usher's Club.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, in the St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. Saturday until time of services in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Indiana Chapter, or to the American Diabetes Association.
