SOUTH BEND - John Mazall, 85, of West
Marion Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away Monday, Jan. 20, in
his residence. Mr. Mazall retired from Drewery's Brewery. He was
born on Sept. 1, 1911, in South Bend. Mr. Mazall was a World War
II Army veteran, was a member of the St. Anthony Society and of
the D.F.V. German Club.
He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth
(Leonard) Rosell of Edwardsburg, Mich.; three nieces,
Cassie (Eugene) Olson of South Bend, Roberta (Dean) Savage
of Mishawaka, Ind., and Nancy (Norman) Shafer of North
Liberty, Ind.; and two nephews, David (Judy) Hudak of
Cinnandale, Va., and Gregory (Connie) Hudak of Cedar Rapids,
Iowa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24,
in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble. Burial will be in
the Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on
Thursday in the funeral home, where a wake service will be
conducted at 6:30 p.m.
