GRANGER - Doloras Morgan Maupin, (Gramma D. to her
friends!), passed away at her daughter's home in Granger at 9:00
p.m. Wednesday. She was born April 29, 1918, in South Bend,
Indiana to Floyd and Mary Ann (Gahl) Kline who both
preceded her in death.
She married Theodore R. Morgan, who
died in 1969 and then William "Bill" Maupin. Bill
preceded her in death in 2007. Doloras was a retired School Bus
Driver for the PHM System. She was a member of the New Creation
Church in Granger and the Women of the Moose, Elkhart Chapter,
#73. She is survived by her son, Robert Eugene (Sharon) Morgan of
Edwardsburg, Michigan; and a daughter, Nancy Ann (Ben) Suetkamp
of Granger; a brother, Pete (Carol) Kline of Mishawaka; and a
sister, Inez Reum of Wakarusa. Three grandchildren also
survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Lynn
Morgan and Larry Vernon Morgan. The family has requested that
memorial contributions be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County in
lieu of flowers.
Funeral services for Doloras will held at
1:00 p.m. Saturday at Bubb Funeral Chapel where friends will be
received two hours prior to the services. "Gramma D"
will be greatly missed by her family and also her Coffee Clutch
Club at McDonald's on McKinley. Burial will follow the services
Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
