Jennifer Lynn ''Jenny'' Matthews, 23, of 27824 Pine Lake St., Edwardsburg, Mich., died on Friday, Aug. 20, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind., of injuries from a car accident.

She was a student at Indiana University at South Bend, majoring in Photography. She graduated in 1998 from Southwestern Michigan College with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design, and worked as a bank teller at Bank One in South Bend.

She is survived by her parents, Susan M. (Gromski) and Daryl A. ''Butch'' Matthews of Edwardsburg; and by her maternal grandparents, Mildred and Walter Gromski of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Pifer-Smith Funeral Home, 521 E. Main St., Niles, Mich., where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family for the establishment of a scholarship fund in Jennifer's memory.
