Walter Matchette

Walter  Matchette, aged, 65, of 125 East Indiana Avenue, a former employee of the Oliver Farm Equipment company, died in his home at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday. He was born in Grant county, Indiana, Aug. 25, 1873, and came here 16 years ago. He leaves his widow, Della Matchette; two sons, Basil Matchette, Swayzee, Ind., and Dale, Marion, Ind.; a stepson, E. B. Pierce, Marion; 11 grandchildren; a brother, J. E. Matchette, Swayzee, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Henderson, Rocky Ford, Colo. short funeral services will be held in the residence at 9:30 a.m. Friday with Rev. H. L. Adams, of Stull Memorial Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be in Swayzee.
