SOUTH BEND - Marion Wayne Matchette, 65, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday in his home after an illness. Mr. Matchette retires as a medical technician and a former employee of River Park Clinic. He was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Mishawaka, and lived in Florida for 15 years. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca J. Boria of Cape Coral, Fla.; a son, David of Cape Coral; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Gunter of Middlebury and Jean Tweed of Fort Myers; and three brothers, Darrell and Richard, both of Naples, Fla.,  and Dale.
   Services were to be at 2 p.m. today in Metz Funeral Home, Cape Coral. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
