Frederick W. Massaro, 59, of Beech
Road, Osceola, Ind., passed away after suffering a massive heart
attack, on Wednesday, June 7, in University of Chicago Medical
Center, Chicago, Ill. He was born on Dec. 27, 1940, in Chicago,
to the late Charles J. and Marie Massaro. He was also preceded in
death by a brother, Charles (Muriel) Massaro.
He had resided in this area since 1979. He
was a self-employed, owner of Enterprise Air, and was a policeman
from 1962-1979, with the Chicago Police Department. He was a
member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger, Ind.
On Jan. 16, 1965, in Chicago, Frederick
married Barbara J. Wagner. She survives, along with two
sons, Adam W. (Donna) Massaro of Elkhart, Ind., and Jason M.
(Nichole) Massaro of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren,
Dominic and Gina Massaro of Elkhart, and Marlon Massaro of
Valparaiso; a sister, Aileen (Robert) Goebel of Oswego,
Ill; a brother, Donald (Ann) Massaro of Evergreen, Ill.; and many
nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday,
June 11, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St.,
Mishawaka, Ind. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June
12, in St. Pius X Catholic Church, committal services will be at
St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
