SOUTH BEND - Services for Cornelius Lenard Mason, 12, of 9131/2 E. Dayton St., who died about 12:15 p.m. Saturday after riding his bicycle into the side of a van at Calvert and Rush streets, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services Wednesday in the church. Clark's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Cornelius was a fifth-grade pupil at Studebaker Elementary School. He was born Feb. 13, 1984, in South Bend. He is survived by his parents, Jessica Bitten and Roderick Lenard Mason, both of South Bend; a sister, Ciera Davis at home; a brother, Roderick Lenard Mason Jr. at home; maternal grandparents, Carolyn Bitten of South Bend and Andrew Hunt of Chicago; paternal grandparents, Christine Mason and Walter Mason, both of Chicago; maternal great-grandmother, Lavonne Woods of Anniston, Ala.; and paternal great-grandparents, Inobia Baker of South Bend and Willie Baker of Turrell, Ala.
