Paul Martinelli

Paul Martinelli, 88, of Cambridge Court in Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, at his residence. Paul was born on Sept. 24, 1910, in Williams, Ill., to Paul and Anna (Prevedel) Martinelli. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and by his two sisters, Emma Phillippe and Augusta Taylor.

On Dec. 1, 1945, he married Laura Hauger in South Bend, Ind. Paul served in the United States Navy. He was employed by Bendix and retired in 1972 after 39 years of service. Paul was a member of Local UAW #9, U.S.A. Fitness, and North West Little League Umpires.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Laura; a son, Robert Martinelli of South Bend; a stepson, Willis A. Bishop of Potomac, Md.; and by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Ind.
