Edwin R. Martin
Edwin R. Martin, until four years
ago a South Bend real estate broker, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the home of
his mother Mrs. Gertrude Martin, in Plymouth, Ind. He had lived in South Bend
from 1915 to 1950, when he moved to Florida, returning to Plymouth five weeks
ago. He was a member of the River Park Fishing Club, the South Bend Real Estate
Board and the state and national real estate boards. He was born Feb, 5, 1894,
in Knox, Ind. and on Sept 23, 1916 he married Nellie Cullers, who preceded him
in death. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethern Church in South
Bend. Surviving , besides his mother are two daughters, Mrs. Lois Yearling,
Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Irene Wilson, Tampa, Fla; one sister, Mrs. Elsie
Dulladway, of Plymouth; four brothers, Charles and Arthur, both of Plymouth,
Harry of Menton, Indiana and Ralph, in Michigan, and one grandchild. Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Danielson & Van Gilder
Funeral Home in Plymouth, where friends my call after noon Friday. Rev. Roscoe
Wilson will officiate with burial in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
