Juanita L. Marsh, 75, of Chicago
Trail Village in New Carlisle, Ind., passed away following an
extended illness at 10:05 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, in Saint
Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. Mrs. Marsh was
born on Jan. 26, 1924, to Robert and Irene (Schultz) Hendrickson,
in South Bend, where she had spent most of her life. She had
lived in New Carlisle for the past 10 years, coming from South
Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irene
(Schultz) Hendrickson; her former husband, Peter K. Fast;
and by a sister, Marcheta Annabele. She was formerly employed as
a manager in social work by the Family and Children's Center,
Inc., in South Bend. Mrs. Marsh belonged to St. Pius X Catholic
Parish in Granger, and The Village Vocals of Chicago Trail
Village in New Carlisle.
Mrs. Marsh is survived by a daughter, Sheila
I. (Louis) Rojics of Granger, Ind.; a son, Michael E.
(Jeri) Bryan of South Bend; five grandchildren, Dawn A.
Rojics of Granger, Michael E. Bryan, Jr., of South Bend, David S.
Rojics of Granger, Ronald A. (Connie) Bryan of South Bend and Dan
L. (Lynda) Rojics of Osceola, Ind.; three great-grandchildren,
Ashley N. Rojics, Lauren M. Bryan and Derek M. Bryan, all of
South Bend; two step-great-grandchildren, Justin and Mitchell Donica,
both of Osceola; her special friend, Luther J. Clark of
Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif.; her special cat and companion,
Chipper; many dear friends at the Village; and several nephews
and a niece.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Thursday, May 13, in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix
Drive, South Bend, with Rev. William J. Neidhart, C.S.C.,
officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski
Funeral Home, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to
