Emma Marsh

Mishawaka - Mrs. Charles Marsh, aged 79, of 626 North Studebaker Street died at 9:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital. She had been ill for about three weeks.

Mrs Marsh was born in Baden Germany in 1871 and came to Mishawaka when she was 13 years old. As Miss Emma Thallemer she married Charles Marsh in Mishawaka, June 22, 1899. He died May 24, 1918.

Mrs. March was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomes Hameline of Mishawaka and Mrs. Dallas Shirk of South Bend; two sisters Mrs. Andrew Hornung of Mishawaka and Mrs. Mary Keiner of Freeport. Ill.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete but are being planned for Saturday morning in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Thallemer Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m. today until the hour of the services,

Members of the Rosary Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home to recite the rosary.
