MISHAWAKA - Beulah "Bea" Marcotte, 79, of
Harvester Road, Maumee, Ohio, formerly of Mishawaka before moving
to Maumee, Ohio to be with her daughter, Karen, passed away at
St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, Ohio. She was born February 14, 1929
in Winooski, Vermont to Clarence and Lavina (McDonald) Rushlow
who both preceded her in death. On April 14, 1951, she married
Normand "Chief" Marcotte. He died July 24, 2004. She is
survived by five children, Ronald (Sylvia) Marcotte, Rita (Raul) Carrasco,
Wayne (Cathie) Marcotte, Karen (Bruce) Rohen and Susan (Lance) Oakley.
She had 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also
surviving are her sisters, Jacqueline Fielder and Barbara Peli
and a brother, Donald Rushlow. She was preceded in death by a
sister and brother, Irene Packevicz and Robert Rushlow.
Mrs. Marcotte worked at the Empire Box Company for several years
before working at the University of Notre Dame before her
retirement. She was a long time member of Holy Cross Parish, VFW
Post # 9820 and Bowlers Country Club.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Monday at Bubb Funeral Chapel where friends will be received from
4 until 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery,
Mishawaka.
