Vernon Mansell

September 25, 1924 – September 4, 1975

Vernon Mansell, 50, of 1518 Niles, died at 7:39pm Thursday in St Joseph’s Hospital, South Bend, after an illness of three days.

He was born September 25, 1924 in Waterloo AL and came to Mishawaka from Alabama in 1943.  He married Marie Rape on March 26, 1955, in South Bend.

She survives in addition to stepson, Melvin Rape of Corpus Christi TX; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clarice Spark of Jacksonville FL, and two brothers, Elmer of Florence AL and Ovid of Scottsboro AL.
